Heres a few more taken 27 Aug

The Musk Oxen were bedded along a stretch of the pipeline right-of-way thats normally out of view from the road (another fringe bennie). I was checking some remote gate valves and bumped 20 or so to their feet. They were nice enough to pose for me. I counted 8 calves in this group. I honestly don't know much about their life cycle and reproduction rates but, I hope 8 calves and 12 adults translates into improving Musk Ox numbers on the North Slope.
