Moose - Lets see em!

A few bulls over the years! In order: 49, 37 and 42 inches. That last one had super narrow antlers. Hoping to draw again this year.

DIY from AK fall of 2019. He was the only moose we saw on the whole trip although we heard many others. The terrain was THICK and packing that thing SUCKED! Elk quarters will forever seem lighter after that.
Fronts are sick, congrats.

Taken with an Olympus XA-3 camera with a split screen focus. You could never get anyone that could take a good picture with them because they would be out of focus or not centered. I was there with my 2 sons and I don’t have a picture of all 3 of us with the moose. We took turns taking various pictures, this one was one of my boys taking my picture and this is a scan of a 35mm photo...

This old bull was shot by my hunting partner.
Bull chasing a cow, both swam across a lake towards my partner in a boat.
Bull reaches shore, my partner shoots him with a 300 Win Mag.
Bull turns around and swims halfway across the lake and dies in 10 feet of water
Fortunately he had 2 rope-comealongs and plenty of rope.
