Not of the sheep. They were a pretty good ways off and I only carry a 35mm lens. I did get some decent shots of a few mountain goats from 35 yards.

Looks like I am a little behind in the conversation. I am headed off to unit 500 for 12 days to give it a shot this year. What unit are you hunting?

I was going to buy a 300 tag this year but had a training injury in the Spring and decided to hold off a year. I'm glad I did with the unit limiting out in two days.

I will be headed down there on saturday for nine days to help a friend on his hunt. No tag for me since I got mine in '09. I had such a great time during the three years I did the hunt that I am giving up the best part of elk season to get back into that country without even a tag in my pocket.
