Hey folks,
I see the Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks website that the Trapping Advisory Committee is having their last meeting at the end of the month. The committee is supposed to come up with suggestions for the fish and game of items they are talking about including 24 hr trap check requirements, bobcat check requirement, establishing beaver quotas, and reducing swift fox harvests. The meeting is on January 31st, and Febuary 1st in Great Falls at the Fish and Game regional office. The meeting is open to the public, so please lets show some support, they will be taking public comment. If you can not attend, p,ease email your comments to [email protected]. I know many people who oppose trapping have submitted comment and we who support the harvest of wild animals need to be heard as well. There are a lot of fur bearers in Montana; I feel there is no need to cut back on our harvest. Check out this link for more details. http://fwp.mt.gov/hunting/trapping/advisoryCommittee/default.html
