Montana poacher punishment

I am sure this has already been posted at some point but in case it did not just saw this article on goHUNT this morning about the buck that was poached in Buttle. My question would be do you guys think he got heavy enough fines/ punishments?

I'd say 11k and 5 years of no license should teach someone their lesson. It's a lot better/stiffer punishment than what someone would get around here, thats for sure.

Especially for a 20-year old! That would have been 4 months salary for my first year out of college!
