Hint: When viewing a lengthy thread and trying to understand the meaning of the title and various posts, start with page one, post one and read through (in this case) the circuitous maze. Can you explain ?
I have liked the idea of a (900) series archery deer tag for Eastern MT. I was thinking August 15th- September 30. Wouldn't mind see a Muzzy season implemented or a Archery hunt during November?
You layed it out nicely Gomer.
Sorry about that . Thought I was on the first one . Was confused that's why I asked . Thanks for the hintHint: When viewing a lengthy thread and trying to understand the meaning of the title and various posts, start with page one, post one and read through (in this case) the circuitous maze.
Some "big bodied" crab clawed 2x3's out and about nosing around? Besides the extreme drought, insane hunting pressure, and EHD, it should be a phenomenal season!Let’s bring this one back. Things are looking great I saw some deer this am. They are out there!!
Obviously you aren’t hunting hard enough. Some "big bodied" crab clawed 2x3's out and about nosing around? Besides the extreme drought, insane hunting pressure, and EHD, it should be a phenomenal season!
Gotta check the next ridgeObviously you aren’t hunting hard enough.
You must be talking to FWP leadership...I've been told the same thing by them.Obviously you aren’t hunting hard enough.
Stick a fork in it. . .SE Montana is in the hurt bag bad. Just came back from a trip out there. Numbers are slim to none in the open country where three years ago you would see tons of deer everyday. There are some deer to be found around the rivers and ag fields….mainly private. Bad drought the last few years and EHD is what the locals were saying. Love it out there but won’t be going back for a while.

As in deep pocketsPlenty of big bucks out there if a guy is willing to strap his boots on and go deep. Or that’s what fwp says. Just not sure where deep is
Don’t even think that gets you there. Look at most of the bucks killed on guided hunts in MontanaAs in deep pockets
