For all of those familiar with Montana resorts/hotels/lodges, my wife and I wand to spend a couple days in the mountains camping and a couple at a nicer resort/hotel/lodge in central Montana. We are trying to stay away from western, and Glacier area to eliminate some driving.

What we'd like is nicer place, with outdoor hotub (outdoor private ideal), and or pool. Near/surrounded by mountains. Maybe a restaurant/bar on site or some nicer restaurants nearby either short drive or walk. Maybe some shops to spend some time checking out, etc.

Does anything come to mind for you guys?

Shout out to white sulphur spring! Edith motel I think gets you entry to the hot spring, if it doesn’t I think it’s $10-12

Why just stay at one? Could do Chico one night fairmont one and then bounce into white sulphur see a lot of the state at a very nice time of year

Whether you're hiking, fishing, or just exploring, having some basic safety knowledge and tools can make a big difference. Something I found helpful was checking out travel tips for outdoor adventures—it's always good to know what the local wildlife is like and how to stay safe, especially in remote areas.

You can check it out here: https://www.travelsafe-abroad.com/. They even have some great articles on general outdoor safety that might come in handy on your trip!

Welcome to ht. Can you recommend the best all around big game rifle caliber for North America?
