many yrs ago i was watching some medium age bulls feeding away at around 800 yrds from my possie,,i looked away to glass another area and as i swung back this monster bull walked across the face on the other side of the valley,,where hed been hiding up to that point i have no idea,did manage to get the camera up n working to get a short video,,its only now that ive been able to get it enlarged to crop n post,,
the rifle i had with me is a 264 diameter in a 204 case so basically a short range of 250-300 at best with the 125 gr partition,,i had to wait until he disappeared into a gut before i could start running across the valley bottom,,while running i kept an eye at his location to see him climb out of the fold and joint some other young bulls,,grunted my way up to the last seen position to sneek up to within 80 yds but the big boy had outsmarted me by doing a houndini,,never to be seen again
