Right now all my Momentum is Focused on the DHI Banquet. After that I'm shifting Gears and Focusing on the Magazine and Getting the NEW Website up. DelW is Working hard Behind the Scene to do everything he can to help out on the Web end.

I'll need Everyone elses help on the Magazine end. Right now be thinking of Pictures and Stories you'd like in the mag. I'll be Requesting Stories, Pictures and Info After the 21st of this Month. I'm working on some Funding and Direction for it and Plan to Kick out the First Issue in July.

Cross your fingers and looking foward to hearing from you guys soon.

Remember, this is a Magazine for the Board members. I've (We've) Been laughed at behind the front by some on Other boards and people for even thinking this. I don't take that lightly !!! Let's make it KICK ASS !!!!

Moosie, what're you going to do to keep things "fresh?" We'll all jump in for the magazine (naturally), but it'd be nice to see some articles & photos that we haven't seen online already. Maybe you can convince people to do like we do in TV and "tease" the story...one short blurb and a "see the entire story in the December issue of Hunt Talk Magazine."

Dgibson... 2 steps Ahead of ya

The First Article (In July) will have some pictures NO one has seen, but a Few stories they do. It will provide me/us with Distribution and the Ball at the Top of the Hill. My Next issue will be in Dec. There will be Stories that you've never seen before. therefor the Snowball will be rolling.

Thanx for the Idea though. (Seriously) I like input and if we hadn't thought of it that would have been important !

We are also Gonig to have "TEASERS" in the New board in the NEW Format. With Pictures of deer/elk (CHOPPED) so people can't see the full stuf and then Release them in the Mag.

I don't want to loose sight of normal people (IE ME and you) getting some Pictures in the MAgazine too. I don't want it just to Be a DEERKING / GREENHORN / MTMILLER / magazine either.

Are you going to run regular sections? Like maybe a stAndard game recipe section. Butchering? New Gear? etc. and stuff like that?? Also I suggest you put about three or four of them little subscription cards with the perforated edges in each issue for a while so folk at public areas can rip out an order form for their own subscriptions.
I want a subscription for myself, the Legion, barber shop and two more for my sons in law (as if they deserved it)

So anyway that is five with three mailed to my address.

Moosie.The magazine thing sounds pretty

maybe have a featured hunter column also so we all get to know each other a bit better as there is quite a lot of talent on the board from what I have seen so far. Also maybe a hunts from afar as there seems to be members from all over the world here. I myself am going on a first time Falconery hunt here in Qatar this coming friday so hope to get some photos and info that I will post once back. Should be pretty cool

and looking forward to it.

. Can't wait to see the magazine and congrats on the DHI President thing. I'll be picking your brain for my upcoming Idaho yeeow trip this fall.
