We took our kids on a short fishing trip for spring break. I’ve always wanted to catch a paddlefish and now we have! I paid a guide service for 2 mornings of fishing and luckily the weather cooperated. My boys had a blast reeling in fish that are bigger than them!

Great times! One of my most memorable fishing trips was being dragged down the bank of the Yellowstone river by a Paddlefish. I was 12 years old and weighed about 90 lbs. The paddlefish wished 115lbs. I was a little tired to say the least!

Your kids will remember that for a lifetime 💯‼️

If I were to ever do this I would be highly tempted to have some paddlefish euro mounts done. Google the image, very cool in my opinion.

Excellent memory making with your family! Congrats!
I actually did save the head from the biggest fish. We hooked the biggest fish of the trip at 11:57 and our trip ended at Noon. My boys took turns cranking it in. 70” from tip of bill to tip of tail.

Now I just need to find someone with beetles.
