My turkey season in MN this week opened w the worst weather that I have ever hunted in. We experienced 30 mph winds, rain, snow, sleet. The high temp opening day was 37 degrees. But I got it done even though we didnt hear a single gobble all day & all the birds changed their patterns w the cold front. My turkey hunting moto that serves me well is..."If you cant call em....crawl em!" 22.5 lbs

Nice job, congrats! Yeah, weather was crap here opening day as well.

Nice work!

First season was beautiful for our group and we went 4 for 4. I felt bad for 2nd season hunters with this horrible weather we've had. This morning is beautiful, though, and I saw some strutters on my way to work. Hopefully some hunters can salvage a couple nice mornings out of the 2nd season.

Congrats!

Follow up....today was the last day of our season. It was alittle warming but it rained off & on all day. Birds didn't gobble much. My friend missed a Jake in the morning. But redeemed himself on a successful stalk to 20 yds. 24 lbs 1 1/8 spurs.
