I get why he did it, it's hard for a small business to maintain a foothold in any industry where there are long-established big companies with deep pockets who will happily throw up roadblocks when they feel threatened. Lawsuits or even just rumors can flatten a small company, I've personally seen it happen many times.

I think MKC knives are fine but I don't own any, I like the shape of that Speedgoat, and I like to see stuff made in the USA. I'd be more impressed if they'd quit with all the weekly "knife drops" and just focus on maintaining good quality and customer service, that's what will always get my dollars.

I doubt that will happen. It's a marketing gimmick creating a perceived scarcity for his product which is obviously working, so they'll just keep throwing the spurs to that horse!

It’s very effective and I’ve recently learned people that buy them are almost collecting as I see they have a fair number of different styles.

I witnessed an influencer doing an “unboxing” and he’s buying the knives. My naivety lead me to believe when people do these “unboxings” they were gifted in exchange for promotion.

I wore out on MKC very quickly. Josh and co do nothing but complain constantly about how the world is out to get them.

Not to mention promoting and hanging around with some strange folks, only fans models etc
