It’s a small world he probably thought it was best to face that issue head on rather than a rumor mill. Idk it’s his business I do wish him the best but you won’t see one in my pack
I get why he did it, it's hard for a small business to maintain a foothold in any industry where there are long-established big companies with deep pockets who will happily throw up roadblocks when they feel threatened. Lawsuits or even just rumors can flatten a small company, I've personally seen it happen many times.
I think MKC knives are fine but I don't own any, I like the shape of that Speedgoat, and I like to see stuff made in the USA. I'd be more impressed if they'd quit with all the weekly "knife drops" and just focus on maintaining good quality and customer service, that's what will always get my dollars.
