Misc pics from the weekend

Very nice!! I'd share pics from most of my weekend, though I don't think 5K lbs of landscape pavers is all that interesting. Now, if I would have had a camera at the 500 I'd have a few that might be post worthy...

How well does it work in the rain? Have you had it soak through yet? Enquiring lard butts (only referring to myself) want to know...

Tyler, it beaded rain while I was using it, but I didn't have it out and about in a down pour. I didn't purchase it for rainy conditions, but according to whom I spoke with at KUIU, it sheds water very well. I think the other jacket, Chugak, is more for very wet conditions.

Great pics. Any bear sign at the WMA?

None that I saw, but most of my time was spent a couple hundred yards from the vehicle.

Thanks, that's the info I was looking for. I know that the Chugach is their rain jacket, but was wondering how well the guide did in light rain/precip. I've used a certain softshell that didn't turn water too well. It was barely better than plain old Microtex for fending water. I'm really considering adding some of there clothes once they start making them in 'husky' sizes.

PS- Does anyone else remember the"husky" section of kids clothes in the '80s? I'm guessing they've changed the name by now, but that's where I had to shop. Nothing like new clothes that are behind the times to help the self esteem of a pre-adolescent yute. Now is the XXL Big and Tall and I'm not tall...

Neat shots....

and especially the Fox kits.....nice to see that not all "predators" are shot on site. I know one of the ranchers that allows access in S.E. Washington that would have left those hay bales once he knew there was a den there.....the rest of them would have had that den shot out the second they discovered it.....and then bitched endlessly that the damend "gophers" were eatin all his hay........

Again....neat shots......bring that pup West this fall and introduce him to Quail......

Don't remember exactly. I do use App Priority and dog pics were F9, 10 or 11.

I also have saturation set to VIVID and then cranked up 3 clicks....maybe a bit much.

Thanks,

I am go to take a look at that tonight and try it out.

Great pics Miller! I need to have a chat with you here pretty quick about your area in MT. Need a new neighbor?
