Matt that would be nice if the gangs stayed home...But this isn`t something new[ minuteman] there have been 4-5 patriotic groups already down on the border for the last 5 years or so. This one is just bigger and will get more exposure, eventualy all of these groups will merge [hopefully soon]. But don`t worry about me, i`m pretty street smart and wary......but i could catch a stray slug anytime driving thru west phx... when its your time then thats just how it is...I am not going to quit living my life or hunting in my state [including down south]. And i am not worried at all. ..I will be going down for just a few weekends... not the whole 30 days......................

I am still optimistic that there won`t be any violance, involving the minutemen, even though we will do our best to avoid conflct. I do hope you are ok CJ. You will be best off with good optics at the top of a hill and have a radio. I would encourage you to sit this one out as it may get ugly and the legal issues of a shooting will be huge.

I dont think the minutemen themselves will do a lick of good by turning in a couple illegals. Any possible good they do will come only through the attention they bring to the problem.

To answer your question, I would turn in an illegal to the border patrol...but I'll be damned if I'm going to approach an illegal and try to physically stop them...I dont get paid enough for that, I dont have the training, and it aint my job.

I do have a line, I wouldnt sit there and let an old lady get mugged, but I dont think we're comparing the same thing...old lady getting mugged...illegal crossing the border...
