The daughter has the place now, works her ass off every day. She might make a little money this year… if we don’t get another frost if nothing else breaks, if the markets don’t change. Getting less for beef, grain and vegetables than her grandfather did per unit; Yep, farming is easy and all farmers and ranchers are rich and all they do is hunt elk with their friends.

A lot of in-position stuff yesterday getting some tees cut in. No way to purge through these lines so that's why we had to put ferrules in. Picture sucks because I was just getting proof everything was in place when I left.

Well I've been bored so thought why not take a fastener and turn it into a mini breaker bar and 5/32" socket.
Battery drill makes a great lathe sometimes.

Maybe one day, need a break after making that socket. A lot of jewelers file work

Waiting on the helper to bring some stuff to the attic, so I figured I'd post what we've been up to. Made a set of ramps because the plant didn't plan for the difference in finished floor heights. And then made some floor chases for new lines that are getting run. Currently running some propress tubing for new hot water lines.

Ready for our DIY build, kayak rack's maiden voyage... the concept is functioning correct. We took it for a drive w/o kayaks and didn't notice any vibration noise, etc.
Kayaks racked up easily enough for me to complete the 110# rack by myself. Surprisingly simple.

Slow day in the shop today so I decided to try my hand at aluminum for the first time. Made a pencil holder for my wife's desk.
