Steven is on a book tour, like the one with the vegan video that was posted, and he was in Denver(Thornton) tonight.

Got to listen to him speak for about an hour then do some Q&A. No vegan questions tonight. He has a very well articulated thought process and is a good ambassador IMO.

I picked up a copy of his book Meat Eater and look forward to reading it.

I'd love to hear him speak at length instead of just a quick book tour session.

I mentioned that I really like the interview he did with Joe Rogan. He said they are getting Joe out for his first hunt on a future show. Pretty cool!

I should have a copy of it in the mail today when I get home, looking forward to reading it.

I got his new book last week and it's pretty good.

Almost done with it but a pretty good read.

I like how the guy writes and enjoy his show, seems like a good dude.

Glad you guys are enjoying the new book and that you got to meet him Zach. Steve is a pretty neat guy and truly a pleasure to hunt with. He is not only a professional and a walking dictionary, but also one of the best outdoorsmen I've been around. Check out the website for some good short reads from some of the MeatEater-at-Large crew (including yours truly) and pray Randy smokes a wolf so we can see those two team up on some wolf steak!

I can't believe you, a good OYOA dude, didn't pop a vegan question on him!

Don't think it didn't cross my mind, that or a possible wolf hunt(with Randy). But I decided to just soak it all in.

I'll start reading my book tomorrow on a plane to Seattle. One thing he did mention was that on his gravestone, he hope it's says Author, not TV Host.

Thanks for the tip on the Joe Rogan interview. I watched it the other night. Great stuff!

Steve Rinella is a well spoken and intelligent individual. His views reflect my views very closely and he is EXCATLY the type of hunting ambasador we need. He is very respectful of both game and those that dont agree with his opinions. The way he articulates arguments has my respect. I just loaded up "Meat Eater" in my kindle. I am lookig forward to reading it.

Love his mini van idea. Wife has been complaining about the milage I put on my truck and the price tag that comes with driving all the time. I guess I'll start taking her mini-van.
