Maven optics

I have the 15x56 B5's and they are amazing. I routinely glass side by side with my buddy that runs Swaro EL's and the 95mm BTX setup. Obviously those are noticeably crisper, but not enough to pay twice the money and lose the awesome Maven warranty. If I drop the Maven's down a cliff I get a new pair. Swaros I'd probably just jump right after them...

I like them as an alpha-minus glass class.
All the new binos companies warranties are mimicking tbe Swarovski warranty.

Swarovski has been a great company to asking for parts. If I lose (or my kids) caps or in one case the strap to the universal mount, they send replacements to me for free. Son broke the focus knob on my 15s which they repaired quickly.

I recently sent my 16 year old ELs in to have the armoring repaired. It’s not bad but I’d rather have it fixed now in the off season. They sent me an email today asking if I wanted to upgrade my lenses ( to Swarovision I believe) for $250. Yes please.

Has anyone used their scopes, more specifically 4*24*50 or the 2.5*15*44 in 30 mm tubes? Looking at various scopes in the $1500 range and this was suggested. Looking for hunting the PNW, cloudy, overcast, large clearcuts to brushy. Thank you.

Flash sale on nwo for a couple different types including B6. I ordered a pair of 12x50. Can’t wait to get them

Have a maven b1, Cs1 spotter, and rf1 rangefinder.

Love them all - had to use customer service twice to get eyecups repaired, painless.

Got my FIL a pair of maven 1.2 10x42s, very very nice. It'd be tough to beat them.

I do believe that the "direct to seller" approach does punch a higher value than the retail model.

Well, just pulled the trigger on the S5 scope combination kit, I’ll update once get the gun and scope in and start sending freedom seeds down the field.

How are the CS1 spotters holding up? Looking a those vs the Athlon Ares uhd 65mm and Pentax 65mm (have eye pieces)

I've seen a bunch of places say the Maven and the Ares are the same scope, and if that's the case the Ares can be found for a few hundred less. FWIW, I have the Ares and I think it's a solid option for the price. Optics are good, low light performance isn't amazing, but you get what you pay for.

Idk where you are from but if its MT you can PM me and look through it if you want.

Id just "demo" one and compare it to what you can at a retail maybe otherwise? Its really subjective.

Maven Optics generally receives positive feedback for their quality and performance. Users often appreciate their optical clarity, build quality, and value for money compared to other premium brands. However, experiences can vary based on personal preferences and specific models. It’s a good idea to check reviews for the specific Maven Optics you’re interested in to get a clearer picture of how they perform in real-world situations. Overall, they’re considered a solid choice among outdoor enthusiasts and photographers alike.

I’ve used the b.2 for several years. I have no complaints about the glass. Nice sharp image good for low light. Image does not stay sharp to the extreme edge of the frame, but for what I use them for it doesn’t matter.

The construction is abysmal. The glue used is weak, and I’ve had 6 different parts fall off. I’ve sent in x2 for warranty at my own expense.

If I were to start over and had $1150 to spend, I’d look for used Meopta B1’s

will be receiving a pair of B1.2 10x42 this weekend. I’ve read lots of good things about them and hoping they live up to the good reviews.
Have recently also tried other binos that were more costly than the Mavens and I ultimately returned them because they were not right for my eyes. Those also had good reviews.
At least for me, when it comes to optical performance, I’m convinced that it is subjective and a bino that performs great for one person, may not be so great for another set of eyes.
Testing at the store is useless. The only way to really know is buying a set and using them for a bit, especially in low light. I don’t live far from the shore and one way I’ve compared is by looking at distant boats and trying to read the registration numbers on the sides of them. I’ve actually had my “crap” $300 pair outperform $1,500+ pair with my eyes. Personal testing is really the only way to know, what you read on boards like this can round down the field of options, but will never replace personal testing.
