Lost a good friend

After planning a western hunt for a few years we finally drew our wyoming antelope tags. 4 of us in the group. My buddy didnt feel good so he went to the doctor. Found out he had fluid on his lungs and leukemia. He passed last thursday. Our first western hunt has a whole new meaning to it now. His son is also in the group so I hope it will be a great hunt for him.

Sorry for your loss. I lost 2 buddies in the last year (one 46- pancreatic cancer, other 47- heart attack) and it really made our 30th HS reunion important. We had a great turnout and tons of love spread around. I hope you and your other buddies help give his son some peace.

Sorry to hear that news. Prayers for you and this fellows family. I hope his son still goes with you as his father would want that. It will be a sad and joyous time both. Maybe if his son gets a really pretty nice antelope buck you could surprise him and have it made into a European mount or even a shoulder mount. That would be special.

Prayers for the family... I also lost my hunting partner and best friend (my dad, he was 56) two months ago. I've never looked forward to a hunting season as much as this one. He'll be with me every step this fall!
