Losing western culture in global commercialism.

You're generation built cars with "planned obsolescence" which is why American's started buying indestructible Japanese cars... which funny enough are built in the US while Ford et al are built in Mexico. Pretty standard to see a Toyota or Honda running around with 250-300k, what was the average max mileage on a Plymouth like 150k

Soooo yeah...
And lest we forget, the quality process which resulted in "indestructible Japanese cars" was developed by an American engineer. He offered it to Detroit first, they said, naw, we're good.

There is a disdain in the modern commerical products world for the Latin alphabet and brand names spelled out using the Latin alphabet. There seems to be a demise in brand names with American or Anglo-Saxon namesakes.

There is now a global disdain for western culture.

McCulloch was the biggest name in chainsaws in the 1970's but is now plastic China junk. Johnson outboards no longer exist.

Many American brands and business namesakes have become defunct.

Many automobiles and trucks stopped having their brand names spelled out on their bodies using the Latin alphabet. This alphabet is the basis for English and most western European languages. It's replacement with international symbols as product trademarks has culturally destroyed the western world.

Automobile controls on the dash have largely done away with English words as labels like LIGHTS, TEMP, FAN, WIPERS and BATTERY.

Don't get me started on the people who name subdivisions.........

I frequently think of the saying that "developers usually name subdivisions after what they are about to destroy......"
Perfect example of this. There was a farm near my work owned by a family named Lemmond. Now it’s a subdivision called Lemmond Farm. I recognized that I felt like was being sold a lie when I saw the sign. They even put a cow on the sign. 🙄
