Looking for HTers living in/near Lincoln County, WY

As the title says, I am looking for fellow HTers to have an offline discussion concerning Lincoln County, WY. Specifically between Big Piney and La Barge.

I am looking for good restaurants, motels, hotels, and other insight into the area.

My wife and I are planning a visit in July to look at the area and pre-scout for the 2023 Elk season also (to make this elk related).

Dont eat at the food truck on edge of town: tiny portion/super expensive and taste is ok at best!

Mexican place is good, not many choices though.
We hit the deli at Obos for some food one day while moose hunting.
Waterhole #3 maybe we heard.

Elk were up high when we were there moose hunting, too high it seemed. Not in the big burn either.

You're really looking for Sublette info...LaBarge is technically Lincoln but functionally south Sublette. Shoot me a PM, I can probably answer some questions.

Between Big Piney and LaBarge? There ain't much...
Obos is a reliable deli and the Bread Barn is decent if open. Otherwise head to Pinedale.
I'd camp and focus on scouting.

Thanks for the heads up about food choices, I guess we will load up in SLC after flying in for our excursion. I had higher hopes given the captive audience in the area having a better food selection. Some of the local motels look decent, now to book a few nights and see how things go in July.
