Never had a Danner boot I could trust. Even the US made boots never lasted a long weekend.
Looking for boot opinions

I wore Danner Cascades for 20 years as a Park Ranger. 2 pairs and the 1st set was on their 5th set of Vibrams when I tossed them. No other brand lasted more than a half year on that job & none of the ones I wore building.

After I gave up on my Danners this season, I went back to Vasque Breeze due to fit and the nice, stiff, EVA shank. The Danners might make work in the snow boots, but they are done with hunting camp, the scabs on the toes are just now about gone. I kept trying to make a taller boot work, but the Vasques fit, even if only a 6" boot.
