Since they don't know where the property lines are you're probably right. Nice to see no matter who's land they're on.

Conrad I saw your pm, & so far most of the fires have been in Jemez,Gila SW areas & some in Sacramentos. Gila fires have been burning low & slow pretty much since May. Going to be some good feed coming up with the rains starting.
We need it bad here.

What unit you got if your outfitter is in chama? 52? There was the Bonita Fire by Hopewell that was putting out quite a bit of smoke. Heard of quite a few guys that hunt around that area of 51.

Unit 4. Ranch is 7 miles west of Chama on 64 (toward Dulce).
Was just curious. I'm hunting 51. I generally stay away from where that Bonita fire was...kind of an overlooked where I hunt. I don't see anyone but still get into animals. May have to check out the burn this year, but I still think theres going to be too many people for my taste. Was hoping it'd push the animals my direction but I doubt that.
