Little Miss Big Sky With Her 1st Buck

My youngest daughter finally got her first buck Saturday afternoon. She has had several opportunities and for one reason or another the deal just never came together. We have been at it since the Youth Hunt began on Thursday Oct 25th. For those of you that have hunted with children, you know it can be challenging. Getting her buck was no exception, and frankly, I was relieved when she got'r done. She made a perfect one shot kill and this young buck will make great table fare. I'm very proud of her for sticking in there and making the shot count when it had to.

You just got to love her hat. Girl's what can ya do?

Great job Team Big Sky! My son turns eight in January and will take Hunter Safety in the spring as well. He can then legally hunt in the Mentored Youth Program and I can't wait for him (and myself) to experience what you and your daughter just enjoyed!
