Lioness

I think so. Spooks and life and death.
Good cast. Unbelievable reality of life these days.
Zoe at her best.
IMHO

Second season is like watching a movie; fairly realistic, quite intense in a few scenes. This show's budget has to be pretty high for a TV series

Watched the 1st season last year, 2nd season already seems to be more intense. Definitely worth the watch

I started watching Lioness a few weeks ago. Agree with everyone else, it's an excellent watch.

Hijacking the thread, here, fellas. Another good one, at least through three episodes: Landman. A perfectly played role by Billy Bob Thornton.

Most of the new shows we enjoy most are by Taylor Sheridan; watching Season 2 of Tulsa King and Landman.

Nothing will top 1883.
Lioness, alandman and Tulsa King are all great. Didn't watch much of Yellowstone, 1923 was okay. Sicario and Wind River were damn fine movies as well

My amateur historian/reenactor anal retentiveness can't do 1883. Or was that Horizon? I get the two a bit mixed, can't sit through either.

I would like to know how accurate a portrayal of oil patch life the new show is.
