Leupold BX-4 Rangefinding Binoculars

Let’s see your Trophy Room/Man Cave

I’ve made some changes in addition to adding a few mounts since my last post; I still have two heads to euro in a freezer. My kids stuff keeps encroaching into my area. I find it funny and don’t mind. One day I’ll have a proper house and room for everything.

Wide buck in the first photo is really nice. I like you choice of paint color, very unique and goes well with the taxidermy. I've killed some hogs I regret not getting euro'd, yours look neat up there.

My "trophy room" is my home office that acts as a repository for all my hunting stuff and other miscellaneous items. I've got some smaller euros on the opposite wall and a couple capped off sets of elk antlers in the floor. I need to hang something in the blank space above the desk. IMG_20230114_102957.jpg

Thank you, he’s my personal best. The color schemes are all my wife’s ideas. I do like the colors though. I do hogs the lazy way, skin and just throw in water and peroxide. I’ve never done it right like I do deer.

We're in the new house so there's a lot to be desired. Don't really have a trophy room per say some are in the living room some in my down stairs man cave area. The basement will be all barnwood after either this winter or likely next. Instead of looking like a physician office (almost the entire house was grey when we moved in inside)

There's also another handful in a pile in my hunting/storage room I've yet to get hung up.

@Nick87 im liking the mix of waterfowl in with the whities👍🏻 That shoveler looks like he could chit right in your recliner lol. Most of my duck mounts were from my youth and have slowly deteriorated (much like their shooter) to the point all but a few have been tossed. My favorite was an amazing drake woodie on a driftwood coffee table mount. The Ex wife’s mutt did the honors on that one, nothing left but legs and feet 🤬

Nick we must have similar tastes in waterfowl because I've got a ringer, a shoveler and a GWT as well. What I don't have is an awesome drake ruddy like that, but definitely a duck I've always wanted to shoot.
95% of what we shoot here is greenheads. They are still my favorite just haven't found one special enough yet...

@Nick87 gotta agreed with everyone else sweet mix of heads + ducks.

I’ve had a goal of getting some birds mounted and this makes me want to put some effort into that.
