I shot this buck yesterday as the Idaho season wound down. I got really lucky to spot him as he entered the trees to bed for the day at 0930. From there every card I played was right and ended up with about a 125 yard shot with a fast death. The pictures are not very good as I was by myself and had a fairly good pack out so I wasted little time on the photography end of it. I really thought this was another buck I had scouted in early October he ended up looking very smilar but not quite as good. I am very happy with this buck as it was done in a General Unit/ Public Land /DIY /Solo. He is probably 4-5 years old and is 27 inches wide. His back left tines although shallow have an acorn growth on each of them which is cool.
