Let me formally introduce you to BlackJack....call sign Jack.

So far I have added the device holder (for navigation purposes), the shorty antenna ( I despise those wire whips and the stock one was doing it all the way across country) and the tail gate EZ down from Dee Zee. I have also semi-permanently disabled the "auto start-stop" bullshiz.

The tail gate assist took all of 10 minutes with a socket and torx wrench.
The start-stop was accomplished by unplugging the trailer light plug under the dash (simply plug back in if ever towing).

Next up will be skid plates from RCI in Loveland.

Congrats SFC, it’s a nice looking rig!

I have a new F-150, where exactly is this plug? That start /stop thing is driving me nuts.

I owe you one SFC!

So far 25k on my truck which has the 2.7L eco boost supercrew STX.

I like everything about the truck except it’s too light in the rear end. Next to useless in 2WD, also the 10 speed tranny tends to clunk a little If you do a lot of highway driving then switch to city and back.

I really notice it if I go through a lot of those roundabouts that they are putting in around here.

Something I realized I have failed to adequately talk about. I had a GREAT buying experience with Jack. I bought from Fairway Ford in Canfield. OH. The price was awesome, the process was smooth with zero hassles, and they even picked me up at the airport in Cleveland. While it is a fairly small dealership, they have an auxiliary lot that held about 500 trucks when I was there. They truly are about volume. Bobby the sales manager is straight forward and I highly recommend them.

To finish it off I got 1.99% financing from my home town Indiana Members Credit Union over the phone in about 20 minutes.

Have a dealership near me. They buy leased vehicles from Ford executives. Good vehicles and they operate the same way. Volume and low price.
