Kid Jigging

Using Big Sky as inspiration I've been practicing my jigging all summer, but I was able to get my two older boys in on the action this weekend. We stopped at a small pond on our way home from our weekend in Grand Teton Park and were able to reel in seven or eight planters and had about that many more hooked that got off in the thirty minutes we were there. I did most of the heavy lifting and let my kids reel them in, but on one occasion my oldest, who's eight years old, did the casting, jigging, hooking and landing. Couldn't be prouder.
