Do you ever do anything to reapply waterproofing? I’ve noticed over the years they don’t repel the water as well as they used to. The leather straps are incredibly durable and I’d buy a new set in a heartbeat, unless there is a trick I don’t know to keep your old gaiters “like new” lol

Haven't tried it with gaiters, but I've done spray-on DWR like Gear Aid Revivex on Gore Tex ski shells and it helps keep moisture beading up and shedding off. I'd imagine it will work similarly. I also know with hardshell gear, you need to wash and dry it with heat to "refresh" the DWR.
