Pardon the tardy response.

That particular double is a Merkel 141, chambered for the 8 x 57 JRS (8mm Mauser, Rimmed) cartridge.

The 141's are doubles on a 28 gauge frame, and as such are petite and quick handling.

I recently converted it and its cousin, a 141 chambered for the 30-06 to Trijicon RMR optics.....

Seems to work!
