Well after laying around for weeks recovering from a concusion and whiplash, ^%#%$# horse's. I was cleared for a little trip out to check a couple trail cams I had put out in mid June. I think I'm going to like hunting this fall. There was way to much snow in the high country this past spring to go chase the big Cinnomon but he's still in the area. I just threw a few sample vid's together from my honey hole.

very cool. at least one nicce bull and I like the cow that was sniffing the camera and looking up. mind telling me what trailcam your using?

That was great! What is it they are eating? The elk I'm familiar with tend to eat a lot of wheat out of my field...the dirty buggers. Thanks for sharing it with everyone.

I had know idea they where dining in that location until I viewed the video's back at camp.
Looks like they like the thimble berry leaves. Out of all the cow elk I caught this time only one had a calf in tow. I was surprized that no grizzlies were around, I guess they all headed to Montana for a reunion. This set was from about 8 miles north of the 49th.

Freakin' awesome video.

I just downloaded some trail cam video myself and found that I had some branches in the way so I got 2.5 hours of blowing pine trees. Watching this helps soothe the pain a little.

Where do hunt, JURASSIC PARK? I felt like I was at the zoo watching that. Great video man! I'll be passing this along. It's awesome to see wildlife thriving as well as they were. Good luck this season although I don't think you'll be needing luck at all.

If you sprayed a scent eliminator on that trailcam before putting out you could sell that video to the company because that cow showed no sign of winding human intrusion. awesome vid!!!

Great video, it was fun to watch! I see that only one of your pets is collared though, the rest must be trained well enough to not run off when you call. LOL/JK Good luck this fall and look forward to seeing your success pics!

Leupold just started shipping there new RCX trail cameras about a week ago. I have two of them set out right now, and can't wait to see what kind of pics they get.

In some of the testing that we did prior to release, the guys at the factory found out that those darn elk like to eat the little rubber tabs that cover the external USB port on the bottom of the unit, as well as the little one that covers the port for hooking up external power. Not sure why they are so attracted to that rubber, but they ended up with lots of UP CLOSE shots of cow elk.
