My 10 year old boy killed a great buck this weekend. It was a pretty tough hunt for being an antelope hunt, and took almost a box of shells  , but he came out triumphant in the end. It was a lot of fun, and I couldn't be more proud. The buck is 14" long, and scores 70" SCI. Goooooo Rack Attack!!! :D

JUUUUnior !!!!!! Nice job !!!

A box of shells ? No worries, thats normal I hear for antelope hunting...... ;)

Congrats !!

Well... a box of shells is a little exaggeration. Shot #15 put this bad boy down :D .
I'm trying to talk my kid down to a shoulder mount. Right now, he's pretty sure he wants a lifesize mount  . I'm sure I can work something out with the taxidermist ;) .

Excellent goat. Problem is now he's ruined. Get one like that the first time and it's hard to keep up with that from here on out. I think we've all been through that box of bullets at least once in our lives hunting goats. Everyone thinks they are an easy hunt but they have great eyesight and getting a close shot can be tough. Way to stick with it kid.

Great goat. I sure hope I can get one like that this coming weekend.

Great pic, a day (or two) to be proud of! Hopefully I can repeat that with my daughter in the next year or two!!
