Is there a state where hunting (shooting) from a vehicle is legal?

In Alaska, for most big game hunting it is illegal to hunt same day airborne.
It is legal to take fur animals and deer same day airborne, but you must be at least 300 feet from the airplane.
There are no illegal shooting hours for big game, you can shoot as long as
you do not use an artificial light.
It is illegal to transport antlers or horns from the kill site before bringing out all the legally required meat.
A big game locking-tag may be used for a species of equal or lesser value, so for example you can legally tag a caribou on a moose tag.
It is illegal to shoot on, from, or across the driveable surface of any constructed road or highway.
It is illegal to bait bear within a 1/4 mile of a a publicly maintained road or trail,

South Dakota it is legal to hunt the road right-of-way:
Public road rights-of-way are open for the hunting of small game and waterfowl.

Michigan it is legal to shine deer:
Shining for deer is illegal throughout the entire month of November, but the rest of the year it's allowed before 11:00 p.m. and after 6:00 a.m.

That doesn’t seem to be the case in NE Montana. There doesn’t even need to be trails, roads, or a flat surface to use your truck to hunt out of from what I’ve seen. Kidding….but not really. 😂🤦‍♂️

Same here but that's another story...

It must be legal in Wyoming. There were a lot of people doing it during deer season. lol

Alabama as long as the vehicle is off and you’re on private land.

While I agree it is certainly not ethical, I am curious if taking big game animals from a vehicle is actually legal anywhere? Able bodied, not Handicapped...

Second question, would "scoping " an animal (but not shooting) be prosecutable as intent?

What’s not ethical about it?

Illegal here in Kentucky. But what really chaps my hide is that the hunting regs state “
No person shall take wildlife with the
aid of fire, explosives, smoke or gas.” Just more government tyranny if you ask me! ;);)

Per page 77 of the 2021 SD Hunting and Trapping Handbook.

Good ole SD.

Now reading that law, what if a guy was hunting deer, but shot from inside the vehicle completely. The firearm wouldn't be protruding from the vehicle at that point....

Also, that makes it legal to shoot out your window on private land, which I have seen plenty of in SD.

WOW, I guess we are lucky in MT.
Hunting is done on 4wheelers, snowmobiles, Boats, Bikes, E-bikes snowdogs, every season.
public waters, forest trails ext...
I think they have to be stopped and not under power.

We can carry loaded guns in our trucks and open carry with no permits.
Sir, please, no yelling.

Last week I was watching a show called "Lone Star Law" about conservation officers in Texas ( sister show is "North Woods Law" about New Hampshire game wardens). This episode had an off duty officer hunting pronghorns. He shot a buck right out the widow of the truck. Couldn't believe it! I always thought anything goes up here but clearly Texas has Ontario beat.

South Carolina = totally legal (within the confines of the regs). That means private roads are legal. Public are not. Turkey, deer, no vehicle restriction on private lands (not to include WMA private lands of course).

Illegal in Kansas unless you're hunting with a disability permit or hunting coyotes, but I think scoping is legal as long as you don't shoot. It's not outlined.

You can also hunt waterfowl from a stationary boat.
