Is hunting out west an option in December and January?

I'm looking at a change in work schedule. January and December will be wide open.

I'm just learning about hunting out west. I hunt in Mississippi and Deer hunting won't be a problem there.

Where might I be able to hunt elk, pronghorn, mule deer in December and January? What method of take?

There's OTC whitetail only tags along the I25 corridor for December in Southern Colorado.

There are cow elk options in wyoming, and even doe pronghorn in a an area or two.

Draw a primo MT bull tag, don't fill the tag and maybe the G&F will invite you back in January or February.

That's terrible advice and all satire, it's just a controversy that happened this year.

I'd go AZ coues. Some people posted love hunts from this year. Looked like fun.

Bear, pig and waterfowl in CA is open in December, bear closes the last Sunday of December, but the others are open.

Idaho has Muzzie antlerless deer Dec 2st until Dec 14th. There are draw cow elk hunts in January.
