I know someone already posted something about this I was just wondering anyone's opinion on these unit like the Montana 700 series or other ones

Kids got one. I've a sat phone. Both connect at same time to whats over head.

Garmin has more features. text, tracking, maps, weather. Sat phone I talk, tell stories.

I have an older one. It works great. Well worth the money for my wife’s peace of mind.
