If some one is in my house I will shoot him.... If they steel my car I will shooot thier Leg... and call the cops but I won't kill them!!!!

Your kiding right? your going to shoot there leg? youd be in prision and sued so fast, you might as well of killed the guy. Worse thing you can do is leave a witness no matter who is at fault.

The law doesn't have anything to do with this. The criminal attempted to steal a car and was beaten (choked, whatever) to death by the car's owner and pal. As much as I like "take justice in your own hands" movies on TV, I don't think that the average Joe should be left up to the decision of administering the death penalty over a car theft. Breaking and entering (you don't know whether he's armed or what his intentions are), rape, abduction...sure. But cars or horses or cattle? Nah.

More power to the guy. To bad he didn't catch his friends that ran to. At least now we have one less criminal to worry about. You do whatever you have to do to protect yourself and your property, even if it means giving someone a dirt nap.

If someone was killed while committing a crime, justice was served, and cheaply. Thats the chances criminals take. You break into my house and while I am there, your leaving late at night in a plastic bag, and not in the coroners wagon.

If the cops would have caught the guy, he would have just been out stealing cars again shortly. This thief has had mulitple arrests in the past.........I think death was probably the only way to prevent him from doing it again. I won't shed a tear over it. If he didn't want to die he shouldn't have been stealing.

I just hope the law isn't too tough on the car owner and his roomate. At least they didn't shoot the guy. Can you imagine the outcry if a firearm would have been used? It's too bad we can't shoot thiefs........if you do you have to say you were scared that your life was in danger.
