with general OTC units and hunt reporting the percentage of guys using a outfitter in most cases is under 1% in any given area. A unit in ID where you can see how many elk outfitter tags were purchased at deadline was 10! of the 500 or so people that hunted the unit. Unit I live next to has 4,000 hunters reporting and I know of 0 outfitters Id venture to guess there are 0% of the harvest is guided. Now the numbers in say the middle fork or going to have success skewed towards the outfitters due to the gnarly terrain. That is the minority in ID tho.
