ID sawtooth elk report please

Starting to get geared up for next month's rifle elk hunt.

Any of you archers been seeing any elk? If not, I suppose the wolves ate them all. again.

I was up last weekend and saw three bulls with 3 cows and 1 calf. The bulls were all small raghorns and quiet but it's still bit early for the rut. Going back up next week to see what I can find. There was definitely wolf sign but never heard or saw any.

I was up there.. Wolves ate them all. Stay out of Idaho you non resident , lifetime resident card holder that draws everything in Idaho because he has to pay non resident prices but doesn't take way from the quota's.

The three of us will be rolling in oct 18th, and will stay for 5-6 days, or until we tag out. We'll backpack in a mile or two and hunt out of base camp....until we cave to the Sourdough Lodge food.

We're going to your secret spot and killing that 350" bull you've been keeping an eye on all summer. I hope my tires don't get knifed since I have out of state plates.
