I'd Rather Fish Anyway

I spent my day fishing for trout on opening day of Utah's deer season. I'm quite sure that I had more fun and more success than 90% of Utah's deer hunters. There are darn few deer left in Southern Utah. I'm glad the fishing was good. Things they are a cooling off. I spent almost as much time cleaning ice out of my rod guides as I did fishing. It was all worth it though. I was lucky enough to catch quite a few rainbow trout, cutthroat trout, and a fair number of tiger trout. I'm totally obsessed with tiger trout. They don't act like most trout and I find catching them both challenging and fun.
