Ice fish, baby!

It was in 60s monday so packed up ice fishing stuff and jumped in river next to house. I hate fishing late ice, to wet and always looking for bad spots. Time to start getting ready for turkey then bear season, and couple weeks of spring spawn runs.

Where is this? I Live in Carbon County, so I went out Sunday near Saratoga. Very, very little open water. Never rigged up. I should have gone up to Casper area, but I love my local waters. Were they on scuds? Stone flies?

Attended our annual pike spearing get together in NELP. High pressure had the fish in an unwilling to participate mood but had a goid time with friends.
Off to meet a few friends at LBDN this weekend and hopefully spear some big pike!

I drove 2 hours north to get out for the first time Monday. The bite was slow. Didn't catch anything picture worthy.

Not a good pic of this Kokanee, but I’d reeled up to maybe 3’ below the ice in 11’ of water to help my wife get a fish out. Almost lost the rod. I know almost 0 about Kokanee, but I was always told you gotta piss them off to make them bite.
