My nephew just finished mounting this one. He took it earlier this year on my father's ranch.He took it with a M57 41 mag with a 210gr silver tip at 15ft.
He has been bowhunting alot there and told me yesterday that he seen a hog that looked like this one's daddy.You cant tell from the pic but it dressed out at 393lbs, probably about 450lbs on the hoof.
I think I'll go down to dad's tomorrow after work and hunt till Saturday evening, who knows, maybe I'll get to pull the trigger on one...

That is a big hog. Must have been eating good. Is that the typical color of hogs from that area?

I like the black one better but would be happy to shoot either one. Was either one with a bow? Big hogs like that, I think a quartered away shot is best with the bow.
