I saw a Bobcat or two!

I've been running my trap line, and so far have connected on 2 nice Tom Bobcats, and close to a dozen Marten. I found a where a Wolverine had been hunting Snowshoe Hair, and set up on him only to find out the 1 Wolverine for region 2 had been taken. Trapping sure helps keep me in shape, and keeps me going.

Pretty neat. I hear they're bringing in a nice bit of cash this year. Could I talk you to into sending a marten skull or two my way next time you run into them?

Nice cat! Seeing this really brings back a lot of memories for me. When dad was trapping we always had cat skins in the freezer of his beer fridge because he played the fur futures with his cats.

Very cool, I really love trapping. I have west-envy thou on the critters. No bobcats close and the only neat thing I can try for is fisher, but the season is only 5 days long. Just finished up the season with no success, but it was a Todd 2.5 mile hike every morning. I really want to try for marten sometime, neat little critters, just have to set aside a week and go to the adirondacks.
