My favorite deer area is over run with cats. 3 harvested by road hunters last year(2004).
This deer season I found numerous old kills and 1 very fresh all within 1 acre. The area was covered in cat tracks, big ones.
I need a friend with hounds--cuz I don't have $4000.
I am out of the country-Europe- til mid January then I would like to get together with someone a get a couple of cats.
Any takers?

Now Hondo

You best not be taking a lion track from me now :D .
You know I have senior right on here now. Just joking hope all is well.

Idaho Smiley I wouldn't do that to ya! :p Are you a houndsman? If so do you just tree cats, or do you take a few?

I dont know if I

Am a houndsman , but I do have hounds.
I Usually let them go but have nothing against letting the air out of a good tom or a problem cat.

If you're interested...

Idaho Smiley, that's good to know. I don't own any dogs, but I have a friend who does. Like you he runs cats but doesn't usually harvest them. To me, if you want to run cats just to run cats, that's what you should do. Anyway I come across a few fresh tracks every winter while I'm out in the hills every winter. If you want I'll give you a holler when I find em'.

Idaho Smiley, Next time I find fresh tracks I'll let you know. It's hard for Shawn with his job to run tracks on the spur of the moment.

Idaho Smiley, sounds good I'll be hunting moose until towards the end of November up Swan Valley way. After that I'll be calling coyotes all over the place but I don't wonder to far from the valley. If I cut any tracks I'll let you know.

Idaho Smiley, hunting unit 67-2 for moose. Not much time left. I have passed on quite a few bulls. I am looking for a nice symmetrical bull with between 8 to 10 points per side, decent palms, and something for fronts. Anyway my name is Tom Jones.(yeah my parents weren't very original)
