Yes, its huge. The Califonia forest grows them big. Seen them on my trip out there last week. These things are pretty impressive to see in person.

Looks like you were in my neck of the woods, where abouts did ya see the big trees ?
Thoses things grow in some of the places that I hunt, brings a whole new meaning to, "I didn't have a shot, the buck was behind a tree !"

I was in the big tree park where the general Sherman tree lives. It is the largest living thing alive and 37 feet across at the base of the trunk. I also saw a real wide buck up there too, got a few pics but nothing when he was looking at me to get a spread shot. I guess he was 30 wide easy. saw a few elk tracks too, i guess the Tules live there. I will post more pics if you want.
