Prop open the bladder itself after you clean it. They also sell kits to clean it, and that is the easiest way to do it.

Detach the bladder and valve and run patches with bleach, then water, then dry. Soak the valve in bleach water and clean the bladder with soap and water and lightly stuff with 2 or 3 paper towels to air dry.
