Decided to go out this morning and do a little wolf hunting in an area that is winter range and currently has very little snow. It's primarily USFS land.
No joy up in the hills so I headed down into the river valley...
7 hours and I never saw another human being.
It was only 4° so I decided to make myself a little warming fire at lunch. I gathered up some available tinder...
Then I let my ferro rod work its magic.
Mission accomplished...
