Reminds me of a guy once hunted with who had a quick semi-auto. Once from the hip, once on the way up, and once from the shoulder ... before I could even decide if the bird was in whose lane. He also had a semi-auto Browning 30-06 with the same scenario if we spotted elk ... regardless of distance. I haven't hunted with him for several decades now.

Hunted dove with a Mossberg pump for a long time. Don't know why but I could hit em with that thing. Got an A5 for HS graduation & the gas mileage plummeted.
