I have posted free Idaho hunts going back to the early 90's on the old NAHC site and others. In the last 16 years I have only had two takers, Dave N in 2007 got his bear with a ML and this year Muskeez arrowed a shinny black bear with the perfect coat ! One of the prettiest blacks I have ever seen!

My reward is seeing the happy faces on those that enjoy an experience not available where they live. I have not been disappointed with those I have met here on HT and consider them friends for life. There are great people here, and as the old philosopher from Texas once said " I never met a man I did not like". And that goes for Muskeez's daughter too! She packed tree stands and bait uphill as well as any hunter ever could. Sorry guys, she is happily married. It was my pleasure meeting them.

Nothing Better than the pursuit of a nocturnal beast. The feeling you get when a mature black Bear steps out before dark is one of the best feelings in the world especially when your client or friend places a execution shot right where it needs to be and then a few seconds later you hear that death moan.
I hope you get more takers on your hunts.

I guide Black Bear Hunts here in Northern Michigan, but ours are by drawing only and in the Unit I guide in it takes anywhere between 10-14 years worth of points to finally draw a tag.
This is one of our past season bears one of my clients harvested at 8 yards.
