Tell me where it is and I'll be there

I have a camping spot for myself and wife and kids reserved in Worland and we'll drive down east of Boyson State Park and find a county/BLM road to park on for the eclipse itself. It sounds like the Wind River Reservation will require a permit to enter so that doesn't seem like an option.

The you go here and click on "maps" there is a huge BLM map of the whole eclipse path in Wyoming. Maybe I'll head south on the road from Shoshoni unless someone has a better idea.

Won't make it to Wyoming, but only have about 100 miles to drive into South Carolina to get around 2.3 minutes of full eclipse. Haven't seen one since back in the 80's.

Lots of BLM following the path to the SE. We'll be in Shirley Basin or close.

Laramie has 98% so I'll be going 40 miles N for totality

Anyone on here need a place to park a camper for a few days, message me. Nothing fancy, just ground, but no charge.

JM77 thats a great offer considering houses are renting for over 10k for the week in Casper and crappy hotel rooms are going for over 600/night and I know people with ground charging a pretty penny just to put up a tent. The county of Natrona has been planning for over a year for the eclipse and they expect Casper's population to boom one to 1.5 times during that week. Not trying to deter anyone from coming to Casper or surrounding area. Just don't expect normal Wyoming traffic nor numbers of people. I will be working and hope to sneak out for that 2.5 minutes to see totality.

That is an old estimate. Latest is 35K new folks.

Those initial estimates were concerning, but this won't be near as bad. The bad area will be Glendo, estimate is 100k.
