Any decent gopher shooter has several bricks stored up, yet, you seem want to equate that with craziness, or at least submit it to a vote. Why do you care how much ammo anyone has, or how many guns? I have a friend who probably has 100 Class 3 weapons, mostly WW 1 and II, including a really cool Maxim and Browning 1917, and he is a Full Bird Colonel. So what is your point?

For the center fire deer/pig/elk rifles I try to keep enough for zero check with a balance of 20-30 loaded for each caliber to carry afield. A case of 5.56 on hand for AR practice, rarely hunt that round. Slugs and double ought for the defense shotty…maybe 20 rounds each. Ample .38, .357, .40, and .45 for the pistols, at least 60 rounds each.

Don’t shoot near as much since the shortage trend.

What part is interesting, or a Rorschach test? That gopher hunters have 4 bricks of .22s, or I have a rich dentist friend who happens to be a Full Bird AFNG who likes to collect weapons?
